Tag Brush

TAG BRUSH
ARTIST STATEMENT:
The piece I have created is a tag brush of my previously created travel logo. This brush can be used as a stamp and can be place wherever desired. The composition above shows the brush stamped a few times to create a psychedelic blue and purple effect that is visually appealing.
As stated before when describing my logo, this piece highlights my traveling and yearn to explore the world and other cultures. What is interesting about this composition specifically is that the logo is now a stamp that can be easily transferred and simply pasted on any other work of art. This makes it accessible and allows for it to be changed to multiple different colors and looks depending on what is necessary.
Overall, this tagbrush is relevant in being able to use the logo I created and apply it to other compositions. It can be made visually appealing and fitting to whatever color and look it needs to have, and is a simple way to put the logo itself to use. The sprays and cracked effects used in the tagbrush help it have an older and less strong look which can also help to add the the visual appeal of a separate overall composition.

  1. I think your tagbrush logo is really cute! I can clearly tell what it is and I really like the design. The dark blue color was a great choice for the logo!

FINAL PORTFOLIO

FMX210 FINAL PORTFOLIO ARTIST STATEMENT:         FMX210 has been a complex yet rewarding class over this past fall semester. This course has taught me the logistics of countless Adobe programs which have bettered my digital media skills. Attached is my portfolio which includes each final project from each program we worked with. My portfolio is themed as red and black with the font Mercurius MT std bold to better the overall composition. Each page is a different project and is done in chronological order from the first unit through the last. I aimed to use InDesign to successfully create a visually appealing portfolio while displaying each of my projects on the consecutive pages, along with a table of contents and an about me page.          My portfolio is crafted in such a way that is visually appealing through the use of color choices, creative fonts, and a simple approach to highlight each project. The theme I chose to create wa...
